and mortgage records are available back to 1806.  Records since 1966 are kept 
on computer file to facilitate searching.

The Town of Lenox has records back to1898.  This includes records for the villages of 
Canastota and Wampsville.  Certified copies are $10 each.  Staff performs the search for you.

The Town of Lincoln has some records which originate from the creation of the township,
