Library Services
  • Loans of books and other materials, including art prints, books-on-tape, large type books, compact discs, computer software, civil service testbooks, and videocassettes. Would you like to read our circulation policies?

  • Reference service 

    • Need help finding information? Your questions are accepted in person, over the telephone, or via e-mail. Please include a local contact number with your request. 
     
  • Special programs, including educational, recreational, and cultural activities for the entire community. Please check our schedule of upcoming library events.

  • Take advantage of the Mid-York system and its electronic databases. Materials of all Mid-York libraries, as well as other regional libraries, are available to you through the online catalog. Web access is provided through the Mid-York Library System Web Catalog. At this site, you also have free access to the EBSCO (magazine & newspaper articles), NYS Library Health Reference Database, and Novelist databases.

  • Public computers

    • Our PC's offer access to the Mid-York catalog and its databases, the Internet and word processing applications. Would you like to read our Internet Policy? 
     
  • Interlibrary Loan

    • If the title you desire is not within the Mid-York system, we will gladly interlibrary loan it for you. Please be aware that this process may take 2-3 weeks. 
     
  • Conference rooms, available for community and group meetings. Please call ahead to reserve a room.

  • Fax and copier, available for the public. 

    • Our fax number is (315) 697-8653; outgoing faxes cost $3.00 for the first page and $1.00 every page thereafter. You may receive faxes at the library for a flat fee of $1.00.  Copies are 10 cents per page.
